At this point we as citizens must be highly sceptical that our nation has many, if any, friends remaining. “With friends like the USA who would need enemies?” It is up to us to look further than the obvious to our real strengths. Although we live in a thoroughly modern age it is high time to look to our history. We had great leaders who wrote the Constitution, Bill Of Rights and served as the architects of our early government. It was not perfect - it is a process we are still in. Agree De Santis has a necessary few advantages and is the better candidate. Time to buckle down and get serious.

DeSantis can get in next to ensure that we get 12 years of honest leadership at the presidential level. We have to disable the power broking swamp and I see this as the only way to do that. No one person is going to be perfect and I agree that his achilles heel is the 'vaccine' roll-out, which has been a disaster, but remember he was not as draconian about it all and said that the cure cannot be worse than the disease when the mandate fanatics began to assert themselves. And I have to believe he has begun to see the light because I have not heard him mention them in almost a year. I also agree that his personnel decisions have not all worked out but remember he is an outsider, and this is one of the best aspects of his profile. He will need to get on board with dismantling the administrative state if he is our next president.
