Disaray is a very "nice" word to use for the current America. Pathetic, mindless sheep seems a little more appropriate. However, I firmly believe that when anything goes too far a certain mindless, distructive and tyranical direction, the scales will tip back. Look at history and wait for it...
You are very perceptive and quite correct regarding the rot and decay of the USA. It is very depressing as an American to be living through this time of decay all the while not being able to do a darn thing about it.
The odd thing is that so many people in the nation are aware of this and are concerned, probably a majority of people. The thing is, none of the leadership is interested in doing the right thing to change course. Perhaps all of our leadership is getting paid off by big business and/or the Chinese.
My perception has to do from my experiences visiting America from the 1950s multiple times every decade (I used to live in Canada), plus I lived in Denver for two years in 92-93. The whole culture has deteriorated and unfortunately, that influence has spread far and wide. The Chinese of course, are fomenting this disarray to their advantage.
