On August 26, I wrote about the most important event of recent times, COVID-19, which affected global health and economies and caused social disruption.
I’m with you and think Trump owes all of the country a complete explanation of his role in the “pandemic,” whether he made some bad decisions or whether he was snookered in some kind of false coup when the military took over from the public health establishment. He cannot continue glossing over the single worst violation of the Constitution in history.
Trump left the covid crisis to Fauci, CDC and others. He left decisions about antifa and rioting to Governors of the states. I still believe though that he loves and cares for the USA and wants the best for all. If the election is between Biden and Trump, then I will definitely vote for Trump.
It's not the best America can do by any stretch, and I agree with everything you said. However, I don't see anyone ready to do what needs doing, and having been persecuted for five years by the state, I'm curious to see how pissed off he is. Is he pissed off enough to fire almost all the top brass at the fbi, shut down forever the cia, get us out of who, nato, declare the wef a terrorist organization?
Trump is a typical Gemini (and my apologies to all the balanced Geminis out there!) - he bends with the wind. Even during 2020 he kept changing his opinion and his stated policies - and that would be ok, if he had admitted to making mistakes (on the basis of limited information).
Now, Trump supporters are busy trying to explain it all away. "It wasn't Trump's fault!" they say.
"He had bad advice..."... "Trump's vaccine was HCG, not the Pfizer shot..."
Either he had extremely bad judgement in choosing his advisors, or he had his own agenda - you can't have it both ways. And in either case, I myself wouldn't ever trust him again.
(Not that anyone cares what I think, as an Australian - I get little enough say in our own country's politics, and none at all when it comes to the US! )
Well said Mara. If you keep hiring people praising them endlessly, then a year later you’re lambasting them, it becomes a pattern. It says something about Trump.

I think coming clean and honesty go a lot further than deception in my world, though it seems to work for the Biden clan.

Joan, Biden is a lost cause. I think he’ll be gone within 12 months.

We shall see whether he’s for real this time or it’s bluster. That’s assuming he doesn’t go to jail. Nothing would surprise me anymore.
Agree 100%.
