I do think the spraying of fire accelerants is an issue, american firefighters have noted that the fires are much hotter and faster burning than they were a decade ago. I understand that alum barium and strontium effect combustion.
That I don’t know about. I do know that in Australia, fires are part of the regenerative process of the bush., and they have been occurring ever since man has recorded them, no more now than in previous times.
oh yes forever here too, the land here was quite formed by (selective and careful) fire managment that was managed by the natives for thousands of years to create clearings and affect various plants they preferred or needed....the idea that what was 'discoved' by euros was just a wild place is quite wrong......but yes, the land and trees are now suffering from the stuff being sprayed from even my casual observation of damaged plants in many areas. If only we stuck to the time honored ways of dealing with things, fire is an old friend in land management...
