The U.S. Election Is Approaching Rapidly––What Do You Think?

How do you feel about the upcoming U.S. election? Does it seem like a dystopian movie? There are so many moving parts. Perception is everything, and whether one likes it or not, neither candidate is likeable, even by many of their constituents. Biden, some days, looks like he has one foot in the grave. Trump could very well go to jail on multiple charges.

Objectively, this election should not even be close. Joe Biden’s presidency has been a disaster. Firstly, Biden has dementia. Anyone who can see and think objectively knows this. I’ve asked a couple of doctors, if Biden was your parent or grandparent, would you have him submit to a cognitive test for dementia? The response I got was “Absolutely”.

Secondly, Biden’s policies have been abysmal. In foreign affairs, we have two significant wars that weren’t there before. The Ukraine-Russia war could have been pre-empted with rational diplomacy. Then there are the ridiculous failures of the military with the rushed pullout from Afghanistan, which resulted in 13 American soldiers dying unnecessarily. The military also couldn’t organize a functional pier on the coast of Gaza for supposedly humanitarian aid, which failed and broke apart. Cost to the American taxpayer? It was more than $300 million. Then there is the case of the Biden administration emboldening Iran by releasing money to this country that is stirring the terrorist pot in many places, not just in the Middle East.

Domestically, Bidenomics has also been a failure. He came in with low inflation and then proceeded through his policies to cause inflation to rise dramatically, including a significant surge in gasoline prices and interest rates that more than doubled. The election is only just over four months away. However, that is a long time in politics. If the economy improves slightly, people may have short memories and perceive that things may be working out with Biden.

Lastly, the most disastrous policy could be the failure to have proper border enforcement, resulting in an open border. Known terrorists have entered America, and criminal elements have murdered American citizens, including children. During Biden’s administration, more than seven million illegals have entered the country that is officially documented. 

So here are a few questions centred around the election.

Trump has accepted the whole format of the debate, which is being run by CNN, rabidly anti-Trump. There will be no audience, and the microphones will be muted when either candidate isn't speaking. The 2020 election may have been rigged, but the debate will be rigged. All seems in favour of Biden unless Biden freezes or collapses.

Keep in mind that the prelude to this election is in uncharted waters. Also, remember that the overall popular vote doesn't count so much as who wins the swing states.
