It'll take alot of God being back into the picture and us getting off our couches unfortunately. Australia and Canada used to be the only places, outside of our 50 states, I wanted to travel to. I worked for a company 1998-2007, that my youngest son now works at, their home office was in Canada. I was never fortunate to get sent on a business trip there. I did go to Denver, Colorado for one as it was their CSR headquarters. Now I wouldn't go to either. So sad. I struggle with is exactly when and where we need to stand up...and I don't mean with memes, signs, petitions, articles, or videos...but I do know us standing around singing kumbaya won't cut it. I also believe the Bible is very clear about that too! It's honestly just about everyone's heart being in the right place and knowing when it's His will and not our anger lashing out. They first announced the expensive remodeling for gender neutral bathrooms and we pitched a fit and got that stopped. But like every other woke company they just can't help themselves and do something stupid again. We pitch a fit and get something stopped, but strike 2 and you're out as far as I'm concerned. It's sad we can't get rid of Wal-Mart too. They are woke to the core! Heck how many white people STILL drink coke?! Ever watched the movie Liar, Liar?! There's a scene where Jim Carey says, "Where would Tina Turner be today if she rolled on the floor and yelled, "HIT ME AGAIN IKE, AND PUT SOME STANK ON IT!"? Rolling down the river is where she'd be." That's how I feel about alot of Americans today...they never learn! They roll over and take it again!
Yes, where has the fortitude gone from the American psyche? Unfortunately, the attitude is spreading through most of the West, including Australia. There are glimmers of hope with a few countries recognizing that we’ve gone off a cliff and they are starting to change their ways.
Sad...I love Oklahoma City. It used to be a very inexpensive place to vacation when my boys were still at home and I was a single mom. There is quite a bit to do there! They are even less woke than Texas. I have NO doubt that is playing a part in it's placement there! Just like Texas has been YEARS they are being targeted! Woke companies and hospitals have been transferring in their wretched, bacteria, woke employees since before the Scamdemic! I just read yesterday an article about Apple in CA telling it's employees relocate to Texas (Austin I believe) or get fired. No thanks...keep them there! Look at Austin, Houston, Dallas...they are liberal, woke, cesspools on their way to being little Comifornias! We have new neighbors from CA. Christian Conservatives that wanted to kiss the ground when they 'escaped here"...as they say. I hated to burst their bubble, but just like black mold not kept in check it's spreading here! Then add the illegal immigrants. Another place we liked to go was New Mexico and I wouldn't go there even if it were free! The whackadoodle broad running that 💩 show needs to be tossed out on her @$$! Another beautiful place ruined! My husband and I were looking forward to retirement in 2023 and I wanted to travel some. Show him where the boys and I would go in New Mexico and Colorado. (I'm not a long trip scenic trip gal! I have vertigo and get car sick.) Like NM, I wouldn't go to Colorado if it were free now! Thanks to Brandon's economy and ALL 3 letter agencies I have no doubt neither retirement nor traveling will happen. Hell the major cities in Texas are even ruined and I REFUSE to spend our hard earned money in those places! People who are Christian conservatives should be ASHAMED they do! However, it's all about feeding ones flesh isn't it?! People don't boycott anything long enough to make a difference. Starbucks, Target, Disney, California, etc would be out of business if just freedom loving people would simply quit spending money on them! Fascistbook is one I thought for sure would go under! Nope..."I just have it to keep up with friends and family"...🥴 PALEEZ! It's amazing how many hours in a day people would have if they were to get rid of it! Best decision we ever made! We knew censorship was horrible, but knew it'd get even worse Nov '20 so we downloaded our files and deactivated our accounts! People would DIE if they realized they knew they keep EVERY like, dislike, page you follow, comment you make, every conversation in messenger! It was mind blowing! Florida would be nice to visit, but anyone who flies these days is just playing Russian Roulette in my opinion! With pilots dropping dead or just the lack of enough and CONSTANT delays and lets not forget to add plane malfunctions (I'm sure due to cut backs because we can't be the ONLY people smart enough to NOT fly!) ...no thanks. I'll just stay home. This Scamdemic, the ones that created it and ALLLLLL that fell and still are falling for it, have stolen so much more than alot realize from us! Your comments are interesting Di. I’m actually going to be in Texas in late March checking out our investment properties., after spending a few days in Toronto. Then we will be travelling into New Mexico, Arizona, Utah and Colorado then back to Texas. At some stage we will be in Oklahoma definitely to see a friend in Tahlequah.
The good news is if we survive America, the last leg of our trip will be in Fiji before returning to Australia.
It’s sad what’s happened to America when I think back to my first trip there in 1958 when I lived in Canada. I’ve visited so many times I’ve lost count and we lived there in Denver in 92-93. My wife commented then how polarized America was. That was nothing compared to today.
