Will This Leader Who Vilified The "Unvaxed" Change His Ways?
West Australian Premier Mark McGowan, who tried to demean the unvaxed and make life miserable for those who chose not to subject themselves to the jab, has to confront what he was pushing. His child is apparently seriously ill in hospital with Covid. I feel sorry for his child––fully vaxed. Mr McGowan himself has Covid, again, fully jabbed.
Will he be humble enough to admit that perhaps his policy was wrong? Or will he at least have a re-think? Probably not. A U.S. senator once famously said, “The dogma lives loudly within you”.

As for his child, I do not know any details, but I wonder if this may not be a Boris Johnson situation -- on death's door in the ICU and then disco dancing at 10 Downing Street shortly after discharge. Children do not end up seriously ill in the hospital with Covid, even with the far more dangerous subtypes than the current ones, unless they have serious pre-existing conditions (like leukemia).
If his child is seriously ill and without pre-existing conditions, I would suspect that his child is having an intentionally mislabeled vaccine reaction, or that his child suffered significant vaxx-induced immune suppression.
I'll bet anything he'll just double and triple down. That is far easier than admitting that he was wrong and taking responsibility for his actions.
