It’s tough enough to counteract people on the other side of the fence pushing blatantly false narratives because they contradict the data. You don’t need people on the same side who are gaslighting each other. We then need to ask if they are really on the same side of the fence.
It’s human nature that when people get in the limelight, vanity and smugness can get so overpowering that rationality can go out the window.
Take the case of journalist Alex Berenson who was the go-to guy on Fox News in the early days of the Covid pandemic; he started to get a following on substack. He was saying all the right things.
Then in January 2022, he really demeaned himself on the Ingraham Angle by trashing Dr Robert Malone’s credentials and poo-pooing the value of Ivermectin.
Dr Malone was quite diplomatic on the program calling it a 'low blow'. On his substack, he wasn't so cautious; he called Berenson "Unprofessional, rude and an arsehole to boot". He didn't mince words. You can read the full article here.
Berenson put himself out as the arbiter of all things Ivermectin. He was the one who brought out the dangers of the vaccines early in the piece based on sound analysis. Now when it came to Ivermectin, he claimed to be all-knowing based on a couple of dodgy studies.
Meanwhile, Dr Pierre Kory, at the forefront of the use of Ivermectin in treating Covid, wasn't going to take things lying down from a journalist. This is what he said:
"The guy (Berenson) even went on Joe Rogan last week and displayed an ignorance of Ivermectin so profound it was disturbing to listen to. You could tell that the hubris and arrogance he must have acquired (or already had?) after getting the vaccines right before most now propelled him into dangerous psychological territory. Commenting so definitively on a topic he knows next to nothing about to many millions of people that "ivermectin is no better than a placebo." This from a non-doctor who has never treated a single COVID patient. Absolutely atrocious."
He went on;
"I say this because others have related to me comments he has made suggesting that by supporting ivermectin it would tarnish his image as he would be thrown in with all the tarnished "ivermectin advocates," or more accurately the "ivermectin peddlers" which is what he described me as on Twitter the other night out of nowhere. An unprovoked insult fired at me. What the hell was that for Alex?"
However, Berenson was not done; he mocked the vaccine injured such as a woman named Angelie Desselle, who suffered uncontrollable neurological shaking following her Covid injection. Berenson claimed it was long Covid. I guess he should know; he's a journalist.
Vaccine-Injured Woman, Ridiculed Online, Tells Her Story
It just so happens that Desselle is Dr Pierre Kory's patient, and treating her with Ivermectin diminished her symptoms. In Kory's mind, engaging in dialogue with Berenson is undignified.
People like Berenson read their fan mail too much, which gives them the hubris to think they are experts in an area they have little knowledge of. There's an old saying, "If someone puts you on a pedestal, someone else will put you in the pit. Sad that he can't be humble enough to see the truth and work for the betterment of those afflicted with Covid.
The other person who should know better is Donald Trump. I am referring, of course, to his continued support of the Covid 'vaccines' claiming they are an outstanding achievement and dismissing people who have suffered reactions as something minor. As mentioned previously, he recently claimed that Operation Warp Speed saved 100 million lives. Sorry, Mr Trump, it's wrong on many levels.
In 2020, Trump had been communicating with Dr Vladimir Zelenko in New York state, who was saving lives with Hydroxychloroquine. Trump was mocked when he said that it could be a lifesaver. The same Dr Zelenko noticed patients suffering from serious adverse events from the Covid vaccines in early 2021.
I am sure Trump was aware of the issue because he knew Zelenko. We can excuse Trump for listening to his 'experts' in the White House back in 2020; however, today, more than two years after the rollout of the jabs, there is no excuse. Everyone knows the so-called vaccines have been a failure with a diabolical safety record.
Then remember when he said this at an Alabama rally?
"But I happen to take the vaccine. If it doesn't work, you'll be the first to know. OK."
Trump booed after telling supporters to get Covid vaccine
People are dying unnecessarily because of these toxic injections, yet Trump continues to promote his 'greatest achievement'. He is, in effect, gaslighting his own base, people who have supported him at any cost but who now have sustained injury. Trump appears indifferent to their plight. As medical student and researcher Kevin Bass stated in a recent article;
“It's OK to be wrong and admit where one was wrong and what one learned. That's a central part of the way science works. Yet I fear that many are too entrenched in groupthink—and too afraid to publicly take responsibility—to do this.”
It's too bad that ego has to get in the way. There is no shame in humbling oneself to the truth. People can be forgiving if they are acknowledged. It's not malicious with Trump, but he will lose some of his support base.
This the result of the poll that I conducted last week.
Trump has shown his true colors. Anyone supporting him now is also supporting the death shots. I support no one who even has the stupidity at this point to say these shots did any good at all and if they can’t even acknowledge the many of thousands who have died and been injured. In. US. 3 million now on disability snd u able to work after the roll out of this poison!! How does anyone not see this!!
There are many different people in high visibility positions that are chameleons. Politicians are trained professionals at being charismatic ones. The more I look at it truthfully, Trump falls into that category. Sorry to say that. People who don't see this are often focused on what they "believe" and not the substance of action, right in front of them.
