We Are Paying The Price For Propaganda On A Massive Scale

What do you see in the photo? I see two old men; both are pointing their fingers in anger. Both these men are tyrants. The one on the left uttered, "We will bury you." The one on the right threw an incendiary with, "Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic". The senescent man on the right needs no introduction. You will remember the one on the left if you were around during the 1950s and 60s as Nikita Kruschev, leader of the Soviet Union.

The Soviet Union was a genuinely totalitarian state where opposition was not tolerated. Today's America is racing down the totalitarian path. Biden's speech in Philadelphia embodied everything antithetical to American values. The imagery of Biden's speech in Philadelphia with Marines flanking Independence Hall and the background bathed in red was a not-so-subtle threat. Interesting the selection of red; it's the colour of Communist regimes. The only thing missing was the hammer and sickle. It was a declaration of war against anyone in the Donald Trump camp, including his 75 million followers. This follows on the heels of the recent raid on Trump's home along with arrests and intimidation of many ex-Trump associates.

One of the tools of totalitarian regimes is propaganda. The Biden administration is engaged in a total assault propaganda war. We railed at the ex-Soviet Union and the Chinese Communist Party for institutionalized propaganda. Today, many have their eyes shut to the indoctrination in Western society, which is not that dissimilar from communist regimes.

So what is the nature of propaganda? Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines it as "ideas, facts, or allegations spread deliberately to further one's cause or to damage an opposing cause". Propaganda is swaying large numbers of people to a similar way of thinking. We know that propaganda works; the whole advertising industry is based on repeating the same sales pitch over time, which conditions the mind into acceptance. Propaganda can be good, not just bad. One example is anti-smoking propaganda. The campaign has been positive, as more people have ceased smoking. It's generally accepted that smoking is detrimental to human health.

Professor Sad Gaad, the author of The Parasitic Mind, talks about Idea Pathogens or irrational concepts. A common one used to significant effect by the Nazis was dehumanizing people. Hitler fed the idea that Jews were unclean and lesser people; they were the "other" or Untermenschen. It wasn't just the Jews who were described this way. Slavs, gypsies and blacks were also thought of in this way; in other words, anyone non-Aryan. The Nazi propaganda machine was overpowering. In today's Germany, Hitler must be rolling in his grave seeing the kaleidoscope of races and colours.

Stalin, during the 1930s, did the same with the Ukrainians, treating them like sub-humans, causing the loss of farms with massive starvation, so extreme that it led to cannibalism. Today, China is engaged in a similar cleansing of the Uighurs, an Islamic group who are being persecuted and placed in slave camps.

All these regimes use propaganda to further their totalitarian policies of terror, bullying and murder. It is an intentional policy designed to repress people both mentally and physically. People often ask, how could Germans be led to instigate such horrors against people––the Jews––who were a staple of advanced German society? Some of the answers come from psychologist Matthias Desmet, who developed the concept of Mass Formation Psychosis. According to Desmet, approximately 30% of the population will be susceptible to this psychosis because of internal emotions of anxiety, fear and paranoia. In Germany, this became so extreme that some reported their family members to the Gestapo. Many others complied because of fears for their well-being. This process snowballs to where we have a follow-the-crowd mentality. All totalitarian regimes initiate this process through propaganda.

Now, where have we heard this before?? In the age of Covid, the unvaccinated were relegated to the "other" or Untermenschen. Until recently, if you didn't succumb to the jab, you were ridiculed by the press, doctors, government bureaucrats and even your fellow neighbour or family member. The vaccinated wouldn't talk to the unvaccinated as if they were somehow "unclean". That just shows the power of the psychosis.

This is the same process at work with the Climate Change Industry. Despite little evidence, it has propagandized society that many accept as a given that we are in a climate crisis. In fact, on balance, all the pronouncements of the climate activists have not come to pass, and their falsehoods negate their own argument.

I can accept that there has been warming since the Little Ice Age of the 18th and 19th centuries, but temperatures were so low that we have come up from a lower base. The Climate Change propaganda machine wants to create an upheaval in modern society. The push is for electric vehicles because CO2 is a “pollutant”, and people believe this nonsense. CO2 is essential for plant life which is critical for humanity. Even the rationale that the earth's population cannot support the level of human activity is falling apart. The world's birth rate is dropping.

We will need more people, not less. There won't be enough young people to sustain economies. So on current trends, fewer fossil fuels will be used because fewer people will consume them. It's incredible where propaganda will take you. We are being asked to suspend much of modern life for what? How did the Covid propaganda work out?

This gets me back to Biden and one fundamental property of propaganda; the big lie. Joe Biden's speech in Philadelphia was the most disgusting display by an American President. It was dictatorial and fascistic, filled with lies spewed by an angry man. If you haven't listened to the speech, take time out to do so, but try not to regurgitate. There is that saying, "Know thy enemy". Joe Biden is the enemy of America, and his massive propaganda machine is in full swing. The speech was not about policy; it attacked citizens who disagreed with him––a sizeable portion of the population. I think this spells dangerous times for America and by extension, the rest of us.
