Tyrants Resign But We Are Left Holding The Wreckage

Almost everyone has heard the news from Victoria, Australia.

I don't know if we can classify this person as the world's number one tyrant, perhaps the distinction to Canadian Justin Trudeau. However, the ignominious Andrews holds the distinction of overseeing the most abusive lockdowns and mandates, with shameful displays of brutality by the police. 

An example is in this video. Many will remember it, but a warning, it is brutal.

Speaking to people who lived in ex-Communist bloc countries, the tactics used bore no resemblance to a free, democratic society. It was akin to what transpired in communist countries.

Then we had Mark McGowan, who resigned in late May and had his own fascistic policies. I wrote about him in a previous post.

Don’t you feel sorry for him? He said that leading the state out of Covid had "taken it out of him".

He also stated, "I just don't have the energy or drive that is required to continue in the role as premier."

What did you do to the people of the state, Mr McGowan? You derided "anti-vaxers", destroyed businesses, and were delusional, thinking you could prevent the virus from spreading. Wrong on all counts. Is that why you resigned, out of shame?

Some leaders could think and seek scientists' advice, change course, and even hold hearings viewed by the public; they challenged the prevailing narrative by other tyrants, such as the U.S. Federal government, CDC and FDA. Governor Ron DeSantis was such an individual, having the courage to reverse policy when it became apparent that most of the "official" policy was counterproductive. Of course, he had the help of an astute Surgeon General, Dr. Joseph Ladapo.

Returning to Victoria and the illustrious ex-premier, one effect of the lockdowns was a 25% increase in stillbirths.

On the subject of stillborns, a German study found:

"Circumstantial evidence exists that extended mask use may be related to current observations of stillbirths and to reduced verbal motor and overall cognitive performance in children born during the pandemic."

Researchers believe masks create a pocket of dead space between the mouth and mask, which traps carbon dioxide. They point out that the buildup of CO2 in pregnant women's bodies could cause complications for the unborn fetus.

Another study measuring inhaled and exhaled air, and a combination of the two in children wearing masks found that there was a high content of CO2 in inhaled air. They also cited a survey of over 25,000 children in which 68% of the parents reported problems such as irritability, headache, difficulty concentrating, less happiness, impaired learning and drowsiness from mask-wearing (Schwarz et al., 2021).

So, wearing masks, especially for children, is detrimental and unhealthy. Even if the evidence was uncertain, why would you mask children when they statistically had a zero chance of dying from COVID-19.

So people like Andrews, McGowan and others who instituted their draconian measures are responsible for damaging the very constituents they were meant to protect. Now, they've disappeared and washed their hands of any responsibility. They've left a bunch of wreckage behind.
