A Senator from West Australia came to the country from Afghanistan. In my last post, I mentioned the folly of continuing to bring people into our country who are at odds with our values. A number of them––not all––want to change us. So they come with all the benefits that Australia has to offer them, and some of them then take the opportunity to bring their hatred and racism to our shores. One of them is Fatima Payman.
Senate votes 56-12 in favour of condemning 'from the river to the sea' following Labor Senator Fatima Payman's use of phrase
The ludicrous statement that Israel is committing genocide is false. In fact, Hamas attempted to commit genocide on October 7. Israel is going door to door, costing soldiers lives in order to remove terrorists who are hiding behind civilians, not to mention still holding hostages. When this senator promotes 'from the river to the sea,' she is actually promoting genocide. It's good that the Senate has condemned her; however, some sympathize with her, including the Green Party senators. We know what they stand for.
In simple language, 'from the river to the sea' means one thing, as expressed by these Arab leaders.
"If the Jewish state becomes a fact, and this is realized by the Arab peoples, they will drive the Jews who live in their midst into the sea." - Sheikh el-Bana, 1948
"We shall only accept war and the restoration of the usurped land … to oust you, aggressors, and throw you into the sea for good." - Hafez Al-Assad, 1966
The whole thing is based on a false premise that the Jews stole Palestine from the Arabs. This falsehood keeps being perpetuated, and our politicians keep mouthing off about a two-state solution. There was a two-state solution, the 1947 U.N.-backed partition of the British Mandate of Palestine into a Jewish state and an Arab one––Jordan.
Unfortunately, Jordan joined the 1967 war. Israel told them to stay out of it, but they didn't listen. Ultimately, they lost the land, which is today's West Bank. Instead of living in peace with its neighbour, this has been an ongoing centre, along with Gaza, for indoctrination and hatred of Jews and Israel. The goal is what it has always been; to drive the Jews into the sea, meaning the Mediterranean.
People conveniently forget the 800,000 Jews who had their land confiscated and ultimately forced out of the majority of Arab states—including Yemen, Syria, Iraq, Libya, and Egypt. Most of them were absorbed by Israel. Did the Arab countries absorb their people? Of course not. Even today, Israel is supposed to solve their problem. The moderate Arab states don't want to because they know how it ends up when you import extremists.
So, the idea that a two-state solution will solve things is delusional.
The goal of Hamas and other terrorist groups like Islamic Jihad is one thing; the elimination of the state of Israel.
Here is what Australia's Nationasl Security Department of the Australian Government has to say about Hamas, as do other countries' security organizations.
"'Hamas' overarching goal is to 'liberate Palestine' by establishing an independent Palestinian state — comprising Gaza, the West Bank and Israel — guided by Islamic principles, and destroying Israel as a political entity in the process. Hamas supports a strategy of armed resistance in pursuit of its goals.
Hamas is formally a hierarchical movement with several movement-wide and regional decision-making bodies, which reach decisions through a consultative process. Hamas' highest executive authority is its Executive Committee led by Ismail Haniyeh, which is Hamas' supreme decision-making body. Hamas' central consultative body is its General Shura Council, responsible for electing the Executive Committee and shaping Hamas' overarching strategy and policies. Hamas's three major regions, Gaza, the West Bank and Abroad, are represented on, and exert varying levels of influence over, Hamas' central leadership bodies —the Executive Committee and General Shura Council — and maintain their own internal management systems.
The Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades (the Brigades) were officially established in 1991 as the paramilitary wing of Hamas. The Brigades undertake military activity on behalf of Hamas and have adopted terrorist tactics in their efforts to defeat Israel, including indiscriminate rocket attacks, suicide attacks, bombings, shootings and kidnappings against Israeli military and civilian targets. Historically, the Brigades have predominantly operated in Gaza, with limited representation in the West Bank. Hamas has reportedly increased its presence and military capacity building activities in Lebanon, however attacks remain directed at Israel."
A UK lawmaker says he's quitting Parliament after death threats and an arson attack
It seems the Islamists have many in the West on the back foot, including politicians, if they support Israel. Heaven forbid, supporting a democratic society in which 1.7 million residents or 18% of the population, are Muslim, and they are from all walks of life, including lawmakers.
Meanwhile, in Australia, Jewish parents are telling their kids not to wear the Star of David for fear that their children will be targeted, so high is the manifestation of antisemitism. I don't see Senator Payman fearing to wear her hijab. She is free to do as she wishes, including spewing her vile hatred. Perhaps she should go back to Afghanistan, where she can say what she wants against the Jews of the world without criticism and may even be rewarded for her actions.
Even in my own neck of the woods, I had a workman make a vile comment about October 7; he said the following, "The Jews deserved it." My wife and I, and his wife were shocked by his statement. He's persona non grata as far as we're concerned. The antisemitism which has kept itself hidden is now on open display for all to see.
Shockingly, the America has contributed to the situation with its coddling of Iran as you can read in the following post by journalist, Melanie Phillips.
We are living in a toxic environment. If we don't reverse course, it won't end well.
Thanks again Ely, leave on Tuesday 21st for Italy, will check in when I get back, Much love, Jake
Only people born and raised should be allowed any sort of political power in this country - "...give me a child before his is 7..." and there is no going back - the evidence is all around us (unfortunately).
