In this age of polarized discourse—especially in America—it's refreshing to see two high profile women who speak their minds, irrespective of political leanings. Both have been the brunt of media attacks by the usual talking heads and have suffered abuse for their opinions.
Dr Naomi Wolf
Wolf has been around for decades as a professor and author. She is a Yale graduate and a Rhodes Scholar. She is well known for being a prominent feminist, and she really burst on the scene with her first book, The Beauty Myth. Wolf has been on the left side of politics and a lifelong Democrat, to no one's surprise. She was involved with the Bill Clinton presidency in the 90s, and most recently, she voted for Joe Biden. Then a change took place. Dr Wolf became disturbed by the Covid policies pushed by President Biden.
She saw that lockdowns, mask-wearing and the "vaccines" themselves severely affected humanity. Suddenly, this champion of liberalism was being cancelled by social media and criticized by mainstream colleagues. As Wol states, she lost many friends but gained others. Also, suddenly, she started appearing on media on the right side of politics.
Most recently, Dr Wolf became shocked by what was in the release—under the Freedom of Information Act—of Pfizer documents where they knowingly suppressed vital information. Specifically, the nanoparticle and the spike protein travel out of the injection site into organs such as the liver and ovaries. Dr Wolf has assembled a team, including lawyers, to peruse all the released documents and compile a case for legal action.
This is no longer a left-right issue; it's a human issue. Dr Wolf now considers herself an Independent politically.
Tulsi Gabbard
Tulsi came to national prominence in the U.S. when she ran for the Presidency in 2020. In particular, during the Democratic Presidential Debate, people took notice when she had an interaction with Kamala Harris.
Tulsi was born in American Samoa but grew up in Hawaii and served in the U.S. Congress for eight years. She also did two tours of duty as a soldier in the Middle East. She continues to serve as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army Reserves.
While Tulsi continues to belong to the Democratic Party, she is at odds with much of the direction in the party's foreign policy. She is highly critical of the military-government complex and immersion of the U.S. in foreign wars. Of course, elements of the government and the media push the U.S. to get involved in Ukraine.
For expressing an opposing viewpoint, Gabbard is being censored by social media. She has also appeared on conservative media like Tucker Carlson, who has given her a platform to speak on foreign policy.
Recently, in February, Gabbard was a featured speaker at the Conservative Political Action Committee (CPAC) Conference. This is almost unheard of.
So what has been the response by some of her critics? They trot out the old Russia hysteria; she is an agent for Vladimir Putin. Mitt Romney, an ex-presidential candidate, stated that Gabbard has committed treason, which is punishable by death. What? For expressing an opinion?
So this is the level of discourse in America today, but Wolf and Gabbard are two strong independent-thinking women who are on their own path and will not abide by the dictates of their leftist colleagues.
MS Gabbard is brilliant. She certainly knows her game and put "Kamel Head" in her place!
Gabbard is a graduate of the Young Global Leaders. Good luck stopping her from being 'woke'.
Naomi Wolf has been scolded by feminists the world over the last 4-5 years because of her pro transgender stance (which is, let's be clear, anti-women).
