When is a conspiracy theory actually a conspiracy? When is so-called fake news real, or is disinformation truly valid information. Because of the explosion of social media and thousands of online news sites, it is difficult for the average person to separate fact from fiction.
We must define our terms. What is a conspiracy? According to the Cambridge dictionary, it's the activity of secretly planning with other people to do something bad or illegal.
Collusion is closely allied to conspiracy. It's defined as an agreement between people to secretly or illegally deceive or cheat.
The Kennedy Assassination
One of the most significant events of the 20th century that spurred a whole host of conspiracy theories with a multitude of books was the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. To this day, we don't know if what occurred on November 22, 1963, was an assassination committed by a lone sniper––Lee Harvey Oswald––or by others as well. We also don't know if others instigated the plot, and Oswald was the hitman.
I have been to Dealey Plaza several times, where the shooting occurred, and it seems incredible that someone could fire off three bullets in 8.6 seconds and hit the mark. I'm not a firearms expert, but others have expressed doubt.
There are still so many documents held by the government which have not been released, fueling speculation that U.S. agencies, the mob or even a foreign government may have been involved.
We can say without a doubt that the last word has not been written on the assassination, so we don't even know if there was a conspiracy to commit the murder of JFK. It’s still speculative.
The Lunar Landings
Another event that is really a conspiracy theory and nothing more, is that the Apollo lunar landings were done on a movie studio lot. According to this conspiracy theory, Neil Armstrong and his crew never actually landed on the moon on July 27, 1969. This may seem preposterous to most of us, but a significant number of people still believe this.
This may have been spurred by the 1977 movie Capricorn One, in which a crew of astronauts didn't really go to Mars, but the whole thing was staged on a movie lot.
To believe such a conspiracy, you would have to think that tens of thousands involved in the Apollo space program, the families of the astronauts, and the astronauts themselves kept the details of their conspiratorial fraud secret.
Viruses Don’t Exist
A more recent disturbing case of misinformation spreading around the internet is the idea that viruses don't exist. It appears to go from they haven't isolated the Covid-19 virus to having never isolated a virus. Wrong, wrong, wrong!
Viruses were isolated at the beginning of the 20th century, only they didn't know what they were. In the 1930s, with the development of Electron Microscopy, viruses were first visualized. Thousands of viral images are readily available for anyone to see. You would have to believe that thousands of virologists in the last 80 years have colluded to commit fraud that viruses are just an illusion.
The people peddling the virus-doesn't-exist line believe there is a conspiracy going on. We can say without a doubt that this is entirely false. It's just a conspiracy theory and a bad one at that.
The Trump-Russia Collusion
Of course, we had the fake conspiracy that President Trump colluded with the Russians. It was totally made up with a phoney dossier. After two years of investigations, including a special prosecutor, no one was charged with any conspiracy. Despite no evidence to support the claims, many in the U.S. Democratic Party still believe that Trump had something going on with the Russians. This whole saga was a political concoction that shows politicians as loathsome individuals.
The Covid Ecosystem
There has been a concerted effort to demonize and cancel anyone who speaks out contrary to the prevailing story of all things Covid. The strategy is the same, whether it's the "vaccines", masks, or lockdowns. Stifle dissent.
The history of 2020 and 2021 shows that the so-called conspiracy theorists are actually providing accurate information while the mainstream media, social media, big pharma and politicians are spreading misinformation.
We can make the case that the pro-Covid vaccine groups are indulging in conspiracy theories and are colluding to drive their false agenda. The proof is there for all to see; a total mismanagement of the pandemic and the destruction of many lives from ill-advised injections.
In an interview, entrepreneur Steve Kirsch recently stated that close to 400,000 people have died from the Covid injections. You won’t hear this on your local newscast. You can decide for yourself whether it’s valid.
You won’t see the video on mainstream media, Pfizer ads, Facebook or on transnational government websites because they have a tight clamp on what is allowed to be seen. That is a conspiracy..
The danger of government-sanctioned conspiracies is that it puts peoples' lives in danger. The rhetoric becomes more and more dangerous. The lies become more strident, such as the unvaxed are causing the spread of Covid cases.
“Let Them Die” Canada’s Biggest Newspaper Fills Front Page With Hateful Comments About Unvaccinated
The following paragraph is from the front page of The Toronto Star.
"If an unvaccinated person catches it from someone who is vaccinated, boohoo, too bad. I have no empathy left for the willfully unvaccinated. Let them die. I honestly don't care if they die from COVID. Not even a little bit. Unvaccinated patients do not deserve ICU beds. At this point, who cares. Stick the unvaccinated in a tent outside and tend to them when the staff has time."
Then we have this from the Salt Lake Tribune:
Utah Should Use National Guard to Keep Unvaccinated in Their Homes
Recently we had the Novak Djokovic saga. I don't know much about Djokovic since I don't follow tennis. However, this headline from the West Australian tells you all you need to know.
We are really in dangerous territory, whereby the conspirators behind the Covid vaccination push are actually treating the unvaccinated much like the Jews were treated in Nazi Germany.
Knowing what we know about Covid science, the governments are deceptive and lying. It's symptomatic of people promoting false conspiratorial theories about the unvaccinated. The health departments and politicians are themselves part of the worldwide Covid conspiracy.
Yup!
A very well written read. Most interesting. Also Forwarded.
