The Trump Indictment Is A Symptom Of The Fracturing Of America
I did predict a few months ago that 2023 would be the year that Trump is indicted for something.
Isn't it ironic? New York, the city that has long been associated with the iconic name of Trump, has instigated charges to make the ex-President a felon. Trump developed at least a dozen buildings in New York as a real estate mogul. He was loved by the media and social elite of New York, despite his questionable dalliances with women and sometimes legal though dubious business practices.
Now Trump is in the crosshairs, a pariah, as he has been since he first announced his presidency around seven years ago. The Trump Derangement Syndrome continues with this prosecutor Bragg. The charges are so ridiculous on many levels. Many legal experts, including esteemed Harvard professor Alan Dershowitz, believe the case is a sham where, "You know, it's 1 and 1 equal 11 here — not 1 and 1 equals 2. It's just wrong."

According to the U.S. Constitution, even if Trump were to go to prison, he could still be elected president. So what is the reason behind this farce? It's merely an excuse to sully the man, destroy every vestige of his life, and make him so unpalatable that he cannot win another election. At least, that is what the radical democrats believe.
All the indictment will do is further polarize America. It can no longer be a unified country. Marxists have infested all facets of American education and bureaucracy. These are people who hate America, and they are in control. However, the more they push, the more they will get pushback from the people who matter––the average citizen. Currently, money is pouring into Trump's re-election campaign.
The whole event is a spectacle––a circus––, yet Trump could be convicted. A man like Trump cannot get a fair trial in New York. Only 12% of the city voted for him in the last election. The judges, juries, prosecutors and grand juries are filled with leftists. The other irony is that people who committed real crimes, like the Bidens, who have received payments from the Chinese and Ukrainians, have escaped prosecution. The FBI hid damaging evidence on the laptop of Hunter Biden, the president's son, until after the election. That was election interference. The 2020 election results would have been different.
The American justice system is totally out of control. While prosecutors go after Trump for payment of hush money, which is legal if done from your own finances, they fail to prosecute real crimes. Criminals are robbing, assaulting, and even murdering in New York and other cities and let off with little more than a slap on the wrist by left-wing prosecutors.
In the meantime, people who happened to be at January 6, 2021, rally in Washington at the capital building are languishing in jail without so much as an appearance in court. Some are in solitary confinement. Journalist Julie Kelly has written extensively on the subject. As she states, there is no way these defendants can get a fair trial in Washington. Many of them were trespassing with the assistance of the Capital police, who invited them into the halls of the building.
Fair Trials Are Impossible for January 6 Defendants
In some respect, Trump is to blame for being in this position. If he won 2020 presidential, he would not be facing a rogue prosecutor from New York. As I pointed out, when Covid hit and how things were playing out in 2020, Trump would not win. If there is one thing Trump could be taken to task for, it is Covid, but so could Joe Biden, who has made some serious blunders.
The Trump presidency was successful in foreign policy and economics. Still, when it came to Covid, Trump essentially relinquished his presidency to Birx and Fauci––they controlled the White House task force. Despite communication from Dr Zelenko, who was treating Covid patients successfully and Dr Scott Atlas, who came later on the task force and recommended ending lockdowns, nothing changed.
You can't fault Trump for his policies in the early days. But now, two years after the rollout of the vaccines, he keeps boasting about Operation Warp Speed. He's tone-deaf to the disaster of the Covid vaccines. But so is Joe Biden, who keeps touting the jabs.
Instead of the press confronting what's really important, like the deaths and injuries from the vaccines, they are fixated on this indictment which is a sideshow. It just further fuels the angst going on in today's America. That's the way the power structure and media want it.
Unfortunately, the fracturing of America continues unabated, and don't you think the rest of the world is watching?
100% agree with everything you've stated. I try not to be so distressed over this decline in America and the loss of our republic but I feel the weight of the darkness. Less than mediocre people have control of the levers of power in this country and they have fallen very low and behave as if there are no consequences to themselves or the country at large. There is a stunning lack of vision and dignity. It's like a strange mind virus has infected the populace. We are a country in crisis and I am not sure the path to resolving this.
