The TGA Now Approves Ivermectin In Australia: Too Little Too Late

Read some of these statements from the new directive from the Australian Department of "Health" and Aged Care, based on advice from the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA). 

"From June 1 2023, prescribing of oral ivermectin for 'off-label' uses will no longer be limited to specialists such as dermatologists, gastroenterologists and infectious diseases specialists."

So now GPs can prescribe Ivermectin. Wow, so before June 1, GPs are too stupid to know when to prescribe Ivermectin, perhaps the safest of all medications and which won a Nobel Prize for its discoverer. While not foolproof, it is so safe because it is derived from a natural organism in the soil that produces Avermectin.

"…use of Ivermectin by some individuals is unlikely to now compromise public health. However, the TGA does not endorse off-label prescribing of Ivermectin for the treatment or prevention of COVID-19."

"The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) has removed the restriction through its scheduling in the Poisons Standard because there is sufficient evidence that the safety risks to individuals and public health is low when prescribed by a general practitioner in the current health climate."

So before their selected date, the implication is that Ivermectin is a danger to health, but not after June 1. These bureaucrats think the public is stupid. Actually, they are the stupid ones, or if they know the score, it's even worse because denying Ivermectin has resulted in some loss of life.

"Also, given the high rates of vaccination and hybrid immunity against COVID-19 in Australia, use of ivermectin by some individuals is unlikely to now compromise public health."

"…concerns about the safety of consumers using ivermectin without health advice to treat COVID-19, widespread use of ivermectin instead of approved vaccines and treatments for COVID-19,"

Ah, so this is the reason. The government had to get enough jabs into enough people because if people found out that Ivermectin works––which it does––they wouldn't have bothered with Pfizer and others on their quest to riches beyond belief.

They are also saying that it won't hurt you, but it won't help either. This is repeated in the following statement. The irony is what has hurt many people are the "approved" vaccines that they are touting. 

"A large number of clinical studies have demonstrated ivermectin does not improve outcomes in patients with COVID-19."

This statement is another total lie. 

The following is from the Journal of Antibiotics in 2017":

Ivermectin: enigmatic multifaceted 'wonder' drug continues to surprise and exceed expectations

"Today, ivermectin is continuing to surprise and excite scientists, offering more and more promise to help improve global public health by treating a diverse range of diseases, with its unexpected potential as an antibacterial, antiviral and anti-cancer agent being particularly extraordinary."

And another paper from the Journal of Antiviral Research in 2020.

The FDA-approved drug ivermectin inhibits the replication of SARS-CoV-2 in vitro

• "Ivermectin is an inhibitor of the COVID-19 causative virus (SARS-CoV-2) in vitro.

• A single treatment able to effect ~5000-fold reduction in virus at 48 h in cell culture.

• Ivermectin is FDA-approved for parasitic infections, and therefore has a potential for repurposing.

• Ivermectin is widely available, due to its inclusion on the WHO model list of essential medicines.

The following is a review by the Front Line Covid-19 Critical Care Alliance. I suppose these doctors are just a bunch of quacks, if you believe the TGA.

This was the group's assessment:

"Currently, as of December 14, 2020, the accumulating evidence demonstrating the safety and efficacy of Ivermectin in COVID-19 strongly supports its immediate use on a risk/benefit calculation in the context of a pandemic. Large-scale epidemiologic analyses validate the findings of in vitro, animal, prophylaxis, and clinical studies. Regions of the world with widespread ivermectin use have demonstrated a sizable reduction in case counts, hospitalizations, and fatality rates."

There are literally dozens of studies attesting to Ivermectin's antiviral properties and usefulness in not only treating Covid but as a preventative.

The real quacks are those bureaucrats sitting in their ivory towers in the Australian health departments. They are either absolutely clueless as to the science or knowingly don't care, have their agenda and who suffers? Yes, the average Australian. Undoubtedly, many Australians will continue to get their Ivermectin from places like India, where the cost is one-third that of the Australian price.

Unfortunately, this is all too late in the game for the Covid pandemic. However, the mild form of Covid will be around as the virus mutates to a less lethal form. Either way, it's shameful what the government agencies have done.
