The Rapidity Of The U.S. Decline Is Stunning
In October 2020, I wrote about the Don McLean song "American Pie" as a metaphor for the decline of America. This was before the U.S. election.
My prediction is coming to pass, and it's accelerating more quickly than I anticipated. It is stunning how swiftly Joe Biden and his so-called economic advisers are driving the U.S. economy down the toilet. It is almost as if they are doing things intentionally. Every executive order, new legislation, new regulation, and action by the U.S. Federal Reserve has obviously destroyed a vibrant economy.
In recent days, when Joe Biden has been able to put two sentences together, he bloviates about anti-fascist MAGA people. Or, he puts out abject falsehoods about how well the economy is doing. Does he really think the hardworking American doesn't notice the massive rise in inflation? Every month the signals portend an America in crisis. Forget the climate crisis; America is in a state of decline as we have never seen before. The Democrat Party is literally waging war on the Republicans. Citizens are targets with the recent raids on anyone and everyone who is associated with Trump.
As reported by Bloomberg, in the second quarter of 2022, household net worth fell by a record $6.1 trillion, exceeding the Global Financial Crisis of 2008 and economic shutdown of 2020 related to Covid. In the meantime, the U.S. has already committed $60 billion to Ukraine. Great, isn't it?

This month that $31 trillion figure will be exceeded. With interest rates up substantially, repayments on the debt will take a more significant chunk of the U.S. budget, adding up to all the excessive spending on pet projects of the Biden clan. Unfortunately, most of the Republicans have gone along with the reckless spending.

Many crime-ridden cities are falling apart, exemplified by the homeless camps everywhere. Go to San Francisco––if you dare––and see the state of this once beautiful city. Many are looking to escape. Even in New York, just 20 years ago, a model for good governance, the city is going down the same path.
Steve Cortes, on his substack, points out the record importation of illegal immigrants exceeding 4 million since Biden took office. They are being housed, fed, given cell phones and bused around various parts of the country. Who flips the bill? The American taxpayer, of course. Most of them must feel like suckers since they voted this mob into power. Perhaps I should use the words allegedly voted.
This is a case of how not to run a country, or if your goal is to make it into a Marxist state, the Biden administration has done a great job in a short 20 months. The sad part is that it could get much worse.
The obviously fraudulent election of 2020 that placed a demented incoherent fool in the White House is perhaps the greatest political disaster of my lifetime.
Good post, thanks. As you point out the chances of these kleptocrats allowing a free election appears slim. With the knowledge of the corrupted and eminently corruptible software used to run our voting machines it is difficult to see a fair election. This situation in which the US has been taken over by totalitarians (regardless of whether they are communists, socialists, or capitalists) is going to require a different approach. I hope I am wrong and the elections somehow materialize into free and fair ones, but.... You're right, America and freedom are dead as long as this situation persists.
