The New Geopolitical Domino Effect: Dangerous Times

"We in the West are stupid." - E.R.

Yes, this was uttered by a friend who passed away about seven years ago. She grew up as a Christian in an Islamic country. She experienced firsthand what it was like to grow up under the umbrella of Islam, even in a moderate country. She thought how foolish we were to not see where the geopolitical changes were taking us. 

In the West, we have lost sight of the big picture; the U.S. and its allies are on the back foot. Other actors on the world stage look at the long term and are prepared to sacrifice in the short term for their long-term goals.

Nothing happens in a vacuum. Why did Russia decide to invade Eastern Ukraine? Why did Hamas choose at this time to unleash a horrific genocide on Israeli civilians? It's the domino effect that is in play. Once the first domino falls, it causes a cascade where everything eventually comes crashing down.

We had President Biden resurrect the Iran nuclear deal, drop sanctions and free up billions of dollars for the mullahs to use in their genocidal quest to eliminate Israel. How stupid can anyone be? Grovelling to Iran—a terror state—shows weakness. We had continuous antagonism to Russia and the disastrous pullout from Afghanistan. In short, these three episodes show a lack of thinking and display America's weakness on the world stage. Because of this, we now see a realignment of the world order, and it's not good for freedom-loving people.

This new order has emboldened Iran even more, which has led to Hamas and Hezbollah having the green light to attack Israel and kill Jews. That is the actual intent.

While Biden went to Israel mostly saying all the right things, at the same time, his presence meant Israel delayed any ground war against eliminating Hamas. In fact, Biden stated,

"Yet the present crisis will be nothing like the Holocaust."

"So I think Israel has to respond. They have to go after Hamas." But then he said, "It would be a big mistake for Israel to occupy Gaza."

Does he even realize what he is saying? Destroy Hamas, but don't do what needs to be done. Sure, try to conduct a war with one hand behind your back. The U.S. is talking out of both sides of its mouth. Would any country tolerate a subhuman terrorist group invading, killing and torturing its citizens in unimaginable ways? Would the U.S. accept 42,000 citizens being slaughtered on their own soil by a terrorist group? 

Biden needs answers for a problem that he helped to create. The U.S. mission with their presence needs to be clarified. It doesn't make any sense. Any ceasefire allows Hamas time to reconstitute itself. Iran is now threatening to get involved. We are closer to a world war than we have been since the Cuban missile crisis. The West is in a weak position with a real danger of disintegrating from within. 

The level of anti-semitism displayed throughout Western nations is a warning signal that we are all in trouble. This is not just a Hamas-Israeli problem. It's a civilizational problem. 

We now have Russia-China-North Korea-Iran aligned. We expect nothing less from them, but for America to support Iran financially, the power behind Hamas is insane.

By its actions, the Biden administration is on the side of Iran, which makes them, by default, on the side of Hamas and Hezbollah. This is a follow-on from Barack Obama, an enemy of Israel. They can't say that openly but engage in this back-channelling behaviour with Iran.

Hezbollah, thanks to Iran's backing, has more than 100,000 rockets. If the Israeli state faces an existential threat, would it use the bomb? If you face destruction, what happens? This is why we are in a dangerous place. I guess the world expects them to be suicidal.

Well, if you have metastatic cancer, there is only one solution. Removing the pathology is the only way. Remember that many Gazans have been cheering on the streets at the sight of Jews being murdered. The death of civilians is on Hamas' head. 

This has nothing to do with Israel. Israel is just the latest excuse. Throughout history, there have been any number of reasons to generate pogroms against Jews. A pogrom is violence––including murder––directed at Jewish civilians within a country. It can extend to other ethnic groups. What happened in Israel is a modern-day pogrom. Here is a list of just a few in the past 150 years. 

• 1903, Kishinev, Russia, exploded in violence during Passover, resulting in 49 deaths of Jews.

• In 1905, in Kiev, Ukraine, riots targeting Jews caused 100 deaths.

• In 1918, during the Polish-Ukrainian War, Polish soldiers and citizens of Lviv rampaged and killed 150 Jews.

• In 1919, during the Ukraine Civil War, Cossacks in Proskurov murdered 1,500 Jews.

• In 1919, a White Army division murdered 1,500 Jews in Fastov, Poland.

• In 1929, 69 Jews were killed in Hebron by Arabs.

• In 1938, in Germany, 7,5000 Jewish-owned businesses were wrecked, with 267 synagogues burned to the ground, 91 Jews murdered and 30,000 Jewish men arrested and sent to prisons and concentration camps.

• In 1941, the Romanian Iron Guard party, assisted by German troops, murdered 117 Jews in Bucharest. German forces massacred 4,000 Jewish citizens following the invasion of Lviv, Poland.

• In 1909, in Adana Vilayat in the Ottoman Empire, 30,000 Armenians were massacred by Ottoman Muslims,

• In 1915, 1.5 million Armenians were systematically executed by the Ottoman Empire in what would become known as the Armenian Genocide or Armenian Holocaust.

This is merely a short list, and pogroms occurred throughout the Middle Ages. Even in England, from 1189 to 1190, there were anti-Jewish pogroms in London, York, and numerous other cities and towns, which displayed cruelty and barbarity never before seen by English Jews.

The difference today is that Jews have a nation and won't accept acts against their citizens. How the world lines up could have devastating effects reverberating in far-off places. A significant factor is the ineptitude of the Biden administration and Democrat Party, who have been infested with antisemitic members.

You have to give Trump credit; he brought a peaceful four years where America's adversaries respected strength. Today, there's little respect. We are in dangerous times.
