The other day, I went to see a notary public to get some documents signed for a property I have in the US. When the notary saw where the property was, she asked me, "What's wrong with America?" She also stated, "I'm not a great fan of Trump, but what they are doing to him is so wrong." I had to agree with her.
I have written about how modern-day America has lost its way. I know America well, having lived and travelled there extensively since 1958. What is going on today takes America to a whole new level. The focus of America's attention is on this man named Donald Trump. It's an obsession and, frankly, an unhealthy one. There is such a visceral hatred for the man in many quarters that many would like to see him imprisoned or executed––they want Trump's blood.
So now Trump, a candidate in the Republican primary, has been charged with 91 separate charges under four indictments. There is a genuine possibility that Trump will go to jail. It's a case of how many charges they can throw against the wall and see which ones can stick. The odds are that Trump will be convicted of something punishable by imprisonment. The question is, should Trump be running again?
Can Trump step aside for the good of his party––and his country? We know that the U.S. Justice Department is so weaponized that they will do anything––legal or illegal––to take Trump down. All things Trump is a distraction. Our focus is determined by where we spend our time, energy and money. Trump's primary focus is that he is in legal peril and has to fight battles on many fronts. It's not fair, but that is the reality.
It's all a farce. What Trump thought or said, prosecutors were trying to say, is a crime. They are attempting to get Trump on a RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations) prosecution in Georgia. Prosecutors are trying to prove that Trump had a common goal with his co-conspirators––including 18 others––to subvert the election process. There is a likelihood that some of those 18 may make plea deals to escape prison but, in the process, implicate Trump.
In his book, Get Trump, constitutional expert Alan Dershowitz predicted what would transpire. While Dershowitz is no fan of Trump, he does believe in the rule of law, which has gone out the window in America.
Unfortunately, Trump's ego won't allow him to step aside, even if it means he takes his whole movement down with him. Remember, some 1100 of his supporters are languishing in prison for crimes of essentially trespassing. Trump has not actively helped them.
The Left in America is wily. They will create so many legal entanglements for Trump that by election time, if he wins as the Republican nominee, he will be tarnished. No one except diehard supporters will vote for him.
So there are several ways this may go:
Trump drops out of the race because of the enormous legal distraction. Is it likely; probably not.
Trump wins the election and can pardon himself from federal crimes but not for state crimes, in which case you could have a sitting president under a felony charge that entails a prison sentence. Could a president govern from prison? Interesting.
Trump stays and loses the election and goes to prison on federal charges. I don't foresee any Democrat president pardoning Trump; the hatred for Trump is so entrenched.
First step to bring in an authoritarian state is to have democratic elections, where you ban the opposition party. I'm wondering will they be angling for this in the future(?) unless the "opposition" tows the line to the uniparty code... A genuine opposition that wants to dismantle authoritarian measures will be met by hysterical propaganda via weaponised mainstream media.
I wasn't a Trump fan, I never cared much about US politics, but he won the first election unexpectedly, and their media seemed to go crazy... I noticed right then... Not a day went past when he hadn't done something to cause them outrage... I thought "No-one is that incompetent or stupid that they mess up every day"... Slowly but surely I could see the distinct bias of US mainstream media, and by extension, our own.
It was only ever subtle digs at former Republican presidents in their media back in the day (George Bush Jr. being the one roasted the most previously), but the hysteria this time... OMG this is "an emergency" ranting of their media was intolerable, and I think it was the start of trying to divide America... They had some people thinking Trump was a crazy dictator, others fully on his side... Never the twain shall meet... BLM riots across the nation, seemingly orchestrated by funding from Soros, a Fauci predicted pandemic, all sorts of madness during the reign of the man who was not meant to win... Even democrats calling election fraud when he won... Of course in reverse if you say election fraud when Trump lost that's a sin that should see you locked up... There were even some riots when Trump won, but the media skipped over that, now of course people storming the capitol, with minimal damage is an insurrection (although there was controversial deaths a protestor shot, and a police officer died the next day of stroke "due to injuries received", three other protestors died of natural causes supposedly... I'm not sure of details so ... eek... I used a factcheck site https://www.factcheck.org/2021/11/how-many-died-as-a-result-of-capitol-riot/)
Noe somehow Trump is to blame for questioning the election... yet Nancy Pelosi and other public figures calling for insurrection upon Trump's win was somehow okay... Here's a great montage of what they said upon his win 👇

☝️ This was the start of the media hysteria...
Yet Trump saying about a march to the Capitol building "to peacefully and patriotically make their voices heard" is crazy insurrection talk compare the democrats video above to Trump's speech below 👇

That's one hell of a difference, and unfortunately I think the US has been overtaken by "pretend" democrats slowly subverting their government... I have no political allegiance either way with US politics, but as an outsider looking in... The place is crumbling from within, and deliberately orchestrated.
This is all bigger than Trump. He is only one of many acts in the play that is being orchestrated upon us. Those in power are seeking more power and wealth, they are drunk with it, and addicted. So they take their addiction out on us, to satisfy their cravings.
It is a vortex toward dark times, history is repeating itself as it always does.
