Scenes of Australian Muslims marching and chanting "gas the Jews" in Australia's largest city are reason enough to question the policy of Australia's widespread Middle Eastern immigration.
'Reprehensible' anti-Israel protesters chant 'Gas the Jews' outside Sydney Opera House
It's an Australian problem and a problem throughout the West. It has been going on for several decades, and it was predicted in Mark Steyn's book, America Alone.
“The future, as Steyn shows, belongs to the fecund and the confident. And the Islamists are both, while the West is looking ever more like the ruins of a civilization.”
This description on Amazon's website may be prophetic. If you've travelled in Europe, many cities have "No Go Zones" inhabited by Muslim communities where you are at risk if you enter those areas. Countries such as Sweden, France and Belgium have places where you risk your health if you are white or, worse, a Jew.
The fact that the chants in Sydney were out in the open dissolves the illusion that it is about Israel. It's blatant antisemitic Jew-hatred. Authorities told Jews to avoid wearing the Jewish star on a necklace. I heard from a Jewish person in Perth who is religious and will now avoid going to his synagogue. Is this what we have come to in Australia? Are we going to have our own no-go zones?
Should Australia reconsider the sensibility of importing people from Middle Eastern countries that have a different value system?
This chart from the Australian Bureau of Statistics shows the rise of Islam in Australia.
As we can see, the Islamic population has quadrupled in 25 years, more than any other religious group in Australia.
If we look at some U.S. data, we see the following since 2007:
Most Muslims are peaceful, and I think most have no animosity to Jews. However, a significant number wish ill to Jews, and it's in the open now.
The population is approaching 4 million Muslims in America. As a percentage, Muslims in America are 0.15%. In Australia, that figure is much greater at 3%.
It's difficult to fathom the minds of people who committed the atrocities we have seen. They are psychopathic killers. It's also difficult to discern how people can support such pathology. What is almost as troubling is the moral equivalency given to the situation.
Hamas not only committed horrendous acts against innocent civilians but also took videos for the world to see. At the same time, they hide their cache of rockets and weapons in civilian areas, including mosques and hospitals in Gaza. They don't even care about their citizens. Israelis care about the Gazan civilian population because they try to target their fire. In contrast, Hamas knows their people will be killed from collateral damage and use that to score propaganda points.
There is no moral equivalency here.
During WW2, the Allies bombed German cities, resulting in the death of 600,000 civilians. Most notably, the devastation of Dresden has been prominent in the description of this strategy. War is awful, and I leave it to historians whether the action was justified. Let's remember that Hitler and his Nazi regime started the war.
Israel targets its response, warning Gazan civilians to leave an area about to be bombed. It bears no resemblance to what went on in Dresden. In addition, in an almost perverse way, Israel gives medical care to the terrorists who committed these atrocities.
Controversy as Hamas terrorists are treated in Israeli hospitals
In a way, the West tolerating the new wave of antisemitism is sowing the seeds of its own suicidal destruction. Hamas' source of weaponry and money comes from Iran. It perversely has been supported by Obama and Biden, who have released billions to Iran. The stated goal of Iran is the elimination of both Israel and America. We should be under no illusion that these people want to co-exist. Listen to what they say and do.
Proportionally, the attack in Israel is the most significant Islamist terrorist attack in a country in modern history. There have been a plethora of Islamic extremism killings directed at civilians.
Between 1979 and May 2021, there have been 48,035 Islamist terrorist attacks around the world, which have resulted in the deaths of at least 210,138 people.
Here is a list of several of them:
In 2019, on Bastille Day, a Muslim man drove a 19-ton truck into celebratory crowds, killing 86 and injuring more than 100.
In 2002, a Bali bombing by Muslim extremists killed 202 including 88 Australian people.
In 2001, Muslim extremists flew planes into the World Trade Center, killing 2900.
In 1988, radical Islamic Libyans planted a bomb that blew up a Pan Am Jet over Lockerbie, Scotland, killing 259.
In 2016, same-day bombings by jihadists at Brussels airport and Metro killed 32.
In addition, suicide bombers in Israel have killed many civilians.
When people say that you have to consider the context of the situation, well, the context does not matter. Israel unilaterally pulled out of the Gaza Strip to create some security arrangement and presumably protect the Jews, hoping the Palestinian government would continue the goodwill. Instead, the people elected Hamas. The result has been mass killing with no semblance of peaceful co-existence.
There can never be a peace partner with such a group.
People in Gaza wanted a sewage system in the Gaza Strip, so the Israelis supplied the pipes. Hamas promptly took those pipes and repurposed them into rockets. Israel also provided cement to build infrastructure; what they got instead were tunnels that terrorists used to sneak into Israel and commit the killing of Jews.
Killing civilians is what Hamas does. They are a terrorist group––along with Hezbollah and Islamic Jihad––which has an apocalyptic worldview, and Iran is the head of this ideological snake.
You are right on! Thank you for not being afraid to write it! Write this powerful piece.
The fact that Dresden was pure revenge being a non military as in non industrial town where we knew the hierarchy sent their familes to be safe and that the war was virtually already won does not excuse beheading or shooting babies or any of the islam extremist evil as per it does not excuse bombing Dresden again.
