Whenever I read or hear the word “sustainability”, I want to gag. That word, along with the other word du jour, “inclusive”, is just code for, “We will take away your freedom, and you’ll be happy”. In other words, you will live in a socialist state, if not a Communist, depending on the degree governments want to enforce their edicts. After our collective experience with Covid tyranny, the new target—climate change —will undoubtedly strip us of our autonomy, but it could be even worse.
I’ve had the opportunity to visit several ex-Communist countries. Romania and Albania, which we recently visited, were two of the most repressive. One thing that stood out was how people appreciated experiencing freedom; the opportunity to live where they wanted to live, the chance to travel without government-imposed restrictions, and the ability to earn a living. While all is not honey and roses in Albania, it’s certainly an improvement over what it once was.
I knew people in Romania who told me similar stories of lining up to buy food, being unable to acquire good food with shortages of many dietary staples. Under the control of the Caeacescus, Romania was highly repressive, based on the North Korean model. They had secret police, and you would disappear if you dared to say anything against the government.
So now we come to the World Economic Forum, which is run by the modern-day elites with the help of entities like Blackrock, who will dictate how we live our lives in the future, all because of Climate Change. Yes, make no mistake, the changes planned for us are in the pipeline and without a revolution, humanity is on a downward path that will erode the human spirit, just as what happened with the regimes mentioned above.
This is another gem from this group who want to restrict our lives under the guise of inclusivity.
This document has the word “sustainable” appear 41 times! Below are some quotes and some of my comments:
“In an increasingly urbanized world, delivering healthy, inclusive, sustainable and vibrant cities is vital for both people and planet.” Okay, this sounds innocuous enough.
“Reduce vehicles from a potential 2.1 billion to 0.5 billion – Decrease measured mobility costs by 40%.” So they want to reduce your mobility. Being mobile gives us the freedom that we enjoy. The WEF is going to dictate how you experience your mobility.
“Syncing electrification with a transition to shared transport can, however, deliver a reduction in emissions while tackling wider issues such as congestion, safety and inefficient space allocation.” When they talk about sharing, they are not talking about carpooling. They are talking about public transport; your right to be individually mobile will be restricted. Of course, the way they will do this will be with electrification. The plan to eliminate fossil fuels for motor vehicles is one more step in their control.
“The challenge facing cities is to shift towards a new model of urban mobility in which electrified, shared transport becomes the norm.” Here again, the word “shared” is repeated. Remember the Covid mantra, “We’re all in this together”? It’s an extension of the sharing concept. In these peoples’ minds, you’re not an individual. You are part of a collective group. It sounds like socialism to
“The World Economic Forum’s Global New Mobility Coalition (GNMC) is uniquely suited to tackle this challenge by facilitating dialogue between the private sector, public organizations and NGOs to identify the root challenges and practical solutions, many of which cross borders and sectors.” They’re telling us that this will be a global scheme. All the countries that sign on to this Coalition will surrender their sovereignty.
“Develop a user-friendly scorecard tool, trialled with cities and backed by the private sector, to help cities track progress towards shared, electric and connected mobility…” That’s right, they’ll be tracking you. It’s just another form of the social credit system already used in China.
“Institutional coordination (e.g., master planning, investment and budget, internal capacity) – Regulation (e.g., urban vehicle access, data access and sharing)” This is already being trialled in cities such as Buenos Aires and Singapore.
Suppose you know what life was like under communist regimes. In that case, you’ll know that when people lose their mobility, their individuality, they become dispirited. The plans that these globalists have for us are dehumanizing. What has characterized the advancement of modern society is the freedom to be ourselves and to express our innate abilities rather than being a cog in the wheel of a large group. It doesn’t matter if we go back to feudal times or to modern-day totalitarian regimes; it’s all the same operation; suppression of our autonomy.
At the top of the briefing paper it says "In collaboration with VISA."
I will die first, but take anyone that tries to restrict me in any way with me.
