I’m sitting with a glass of wine in hand, looking at the glorious post-sunset sky. As I gaze out at the reddish-orange colouration, it feels like all is well with the world. But is it really? Perhaps that is my illusion because everything is not well when I step back into the real world.
The Russia-Ukraine conflict with the heartbreaking devastation and loss of life is distressing and still ongoing. The Covidland debacle keeps going indefinitely. The irony, however, is that while we focus our attention on Russia, we take our eye off America, which has become an oligarchy. Remember, an oligarchy is where governmental power resides with a few individuals. Big Pharma, Big Tech and government bureaucrats hold all the power. The oligarchs have their clutches on many countries, including Australia.
The West prides itself on upholding democratic principles––which is also an illusion. While the U.S. and others condemn China and Russia, we see Covid tyranny alive and well in the West.
In Australia, a good example is what can only be described as the subjugation by AHPRA––the health regulatory body that controls doctors and allied health professionals. If you dare to speak outside the state-run narrative, you are considered a threat to the public and can quickly lose your license or be suspended. Questioning the “vaccines”, lockdowns or masks, and the transgenderism push on children is considered a no-no. In other words, free thought and biological facts are forbidden.
Not to be outdone and continuing with the 1984-like Ministry of Disinformation, the Federal Australian government is colluding with Big Tech to make sure the public is not fed “disinformation”, whatever they construe that to be. Most of what Big Tech puts out as disinformation is accurate, but they will not allow the truth because they have a preset agenda.
Australia pledges new powers for combatting online disinformation
The U.S. Surgeon General wants to suppress online Covid misinformation in his tyrannical mindset. I would like to ask Murthy how many Covid patients he has treated. While there is a lawsuit pending based on the constitutionality of Murthy’s actions, it appears to many, as for the Surgeon General, the constitution is just a suggestion.

This is the way of today’s world. Don’t fall into the trap that this will all go away. Today, it may be Covid or Ukraine; tomorrow, it will be another crisis for which the oligarchs will try to suppress free expression.
I think I’ll go and watch another beautiful sunset.
These pieces of legislation - eg "Online Safety" Bills - seem to be the next part of the lockstep agenda, popping up in many countries right now... while the scamdemic measures are mostly being relaxed, corona is no longer front & centre of the news, and most people are heartily sick of it all.
In Queensland we have some ongoing permanent emergency powers legislation that will be voted on tomorrow (31 March), and similar legislation is being proposed in the UK, and I think the US as well. Probably in many other countries, but most people don't really notice - because it does not have any immediate impact - and it doesn't tend to get any limelight attention.
We also have the WHO Pandemic Treaty being pushed right now, and again, it isn't getting the same sort of attention as lockdowns & such. But all these bits of legislation & binding treaties are laying a framework for even more rigid authoritarian control of our health, in the coming years. The last 2 years have served to prime us & get us used to these types of measures. Now they want to put a more permanent framework in place.
Mercola has a good article - it will be pulled down in 48 hours, so download it as a PDF for future reference:

Did you take 24 hours to write that one?
Long time since I've been in Perth. I spent a few months there back in the 1980s and then a few day visits, one on the way back from Singapore (I was living in Melbourne at the time). I shall have to go back to see one of those sunsets.
