So How Are Those Jabs Working For Ya, Mr Morrison, Australian Prime Minister?

Mr Scott Morrison, our Prime Minister who is known for his political U-turns, has sent Australians a letter. I threw it in the rubbish bin with disdain.

Thanks to my friend, Murray, for keeping his copy and forwarding it to me.

As you can see, the government's implication is that it has saved 30,000 lives, thanks to the vaccines. Now, where did he pull that figure from? Politicians are great at magically pulling things out of a hat like, "the polar ice caps will melt by 2014.

Anyway, back to the letter. If we have done such a sterling job, why do we need the boosters? The letter states, over 80% of Australians are fully vaccinated. Ignoring the fact that the vaccines are dangerous, how will more of them do us good?

Why has the Australian populace subjected themselves to this, only to find they are not immune from Covid? Surprise, surprise, now we need multiple boosters.

Maybe we should closely look at how the vaccines are really going.

Why are there more cases now than in 2020 when we are now 80% double jabbed Mr Morrison? We know why, don't we? The "vaccines" don't prevent transmission. 

The jabs clearly don't prevent sickness and death, as you can see on the chart. Why are there more deaths this December than in 2020 when there were no vaccines? Making matters even worse is that we are now in the Australian summer when infectious respiratory diseases diminish because of much more sun exposure and higher levels of vitamin D. You would expect cases to go down, not up.

Even more embarrassing for the timing of Morrison's letter, is that our fully vaccinated Deputy Prime Minister has now got Covid.

The Prime Minister is conflating our good record with the vaccines. Other countries have outstanding records as well, like Taiwan and Hong Kong. 

Meanwhile, Central European countries continue to explode in cases despite high vaccination rates. I won't put those graphs up, but you can read about them in an article by Vasko Kohlmayer

Australia Is In A Unique Position

We are an island nation and suffer from the "tyranny of distance". It's a long swim to the rest of the world. Once we shut down flights and international tourism, the spread of Covid would always be more restricted than in other countries. It's a similar situation for New Zealand.

Also, Australia's population density ranks 243rd globally, at 3 people per square kilometre, the lowest in the world. In Western Australia, where I reside. It's even lower at 0.9 people per square kilometre. We live in a sparse country. 

We are also blessed with an abundance of sunshine, more so than the countries of central and northern Europe. So except for people who are cooped up indoors, most people in Australia are not deficient in vitamin D.

So Mr Morrison, look beyond your bureaucratic talking points. Some of us are capable of thinking for ourselves. 

The vaccines are not having any significant impact in stopping the pandemic; in fact, many scientists believe they are making the situation worse through immune escape and antibody-dependent enhancement. However, that is a topic for another day.
