Political Prisoners Are Now A Feature of American 'Freedom'
Dr Naomi Wolf, who used to be a Democrat but is now an independent, laments the imprisonment this week of Stephen Bannon for the ‘crime’ of contempt of Congress. You may know that Bannon and Wolf make for strange bedfellows.
Bannon, an arch conservative has given Naomi Wolf and her group, Daily Clout, a platform on his War Room podcast to present their investigation into the fraud involved in the clinical trials of the Covid-19 products.
Bannon has been added to other ex-Trump supporters who have been hunted and in some cases imprisoned such as Dr Peter Navaro who is still there and George Papadopoulos who was imprisoned a few years ago.
Meanwhile, Attorney General Merrick Garland was found to be in contempt of Congress recently for failing to provide tapes of an investigation into Joe Biden. Garland didn’t charge himself, so he is free as a bird.
Other than Bannon, no one has previously been imprisoned for contempt of Congress. The U.S. judicial system has gone down a shameful road of weaponizing political opponents of the incumbent President.
