No Sanctuary In Australia
Australia got it very wrong when it came to Covid Policy, much like many countries. Some police departments displayed terrible and tyrannical behaviour. Unfortunately, it put a stain on our country. One area where Australia does it right is immigration policy. We don’t tolerate illegals and the vast majority of Australians favour the stringent policy.
When I applied to immigrate to Australia I had to go through a 100 point system which was rated according to five areas: Health—including a chest x-ray to screen screen for TB—, financial viability, a sponsor, a job or profession in need, and competency in the English language. In other words, the idea was to have people who contribute to the country rather than be a drain on taxpayers. While not perfect it disincentives the type of immigrant invasion happening in the U,S.
Recently, Megyn Kelly on her show discussed this with Sky News prestenter Paul Murray.
The US too has a legal immigration process - and many of those who had to jump through all those hoops are extra pissed off at the current facilitation of the illegals.
