As an ex-Canadian, I never dreamed that Canada could descend into such an abyss. As a six-year-old, my family immigrated to Canada. I spent the next 26 years there until I left while Pierre Trudeau—the father of Justin—was Prime Minister. I was not too fond of the elder Trudeau and his policies, but his son is on an altogether different plane.
What we see today in Canada is akin to mid 30s Nazi Germany. Trudeau has frozen people's bank accounts, instituted dictatorial emergency powers and arrested journalists who dare to cover the trucker protest. Trudeau's policies are anathema to a free society.
