Just As Big Pharma Corrupts Medicine, This Country Corrupts U.S. Universities
The Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy (ISGAP) has provided us with some details that help to explain why there has been so much radicalization in American universities, including a pandemic of antisemitism.
The Corruption Of The American Mind: How Foreign Funding In U.S. Higher Education By Authoritarian Regimes,Widely Undisclosed, Predicts Erosion Of Democratic Norms And Antisemitic Incidents On Campus
“From 2015-2020, institutions that accepted funding from Middle Eastern donors had,on average, 300% more antisemitic incidents than those institutions that did not.”
You would be wrong if you guessed that the most significant foreign funder was China. The largest donor is Qatar. What is disturbing is that out of all the foreign donors, it is also a nation that is a crucial supporter of antisemitism and the terror group Hamas. The leaders of Hamas were unashamedly living in luxury in Doha, Qatar, as the October 7 attacks in Israel took place.
In the above chart, you notice that much of the money that flows to American universities is unreported, which is illegal. Yet, the U.S. is lax about enforcing this breach of funding laws.
Qatar has created a large facility called Education City near Doha.
Several American universities, such as Texas A&M, Georgetown, Cornell, Northwestern, Virginia Commonwealth University, and Carnegie Mellon, have campuses at Education City. One of the problems with this scenario is that funding for this facility comes from the head of the Muslim Brotherhood, which advocates the destruction of America, Israel, and Jews in general. Remember, the Brotherhood was the group that was removed from power in Egypt because of its radicalism.
Is it any wonder, then, that American universities have become so antisemitic? Qatar’s connection to the Muslim Brotherhood is impacting higher education.
There is little doubt that countries like Qatar have influenced American academia when it comes to issues of democracy and American society when it comes to the Jewish people in Israel. On the chart, Saudi Arabia is also high on the funding list. The Saudis have had their brand of Islamic radicalism, Wahabbism, though recently, they have moderated somewhat because of their fear of Iran.
The Qatari Foundation, which is part of the government of Qatar, has projects worth over a billion dollars and owns all of the intellectual property rights for these projects. In some cases, Qatar owns the IP for research that includes nuclear and military power.
The goal of the radicals in Qatar is to rekindle the caliphate by weakening the West and infesting it with radical ideology. They are subtle in what they project, but sinister elements are just the same. Unfortunately, with money comes power, and Qatar has a lot of money; in fact, it’s one of the wealthiest countries in the world. Its 2.7 million residents experience a tremendous standard of living thanks to petrodollars.
American universities today have become dens of extremist ideology. Jewish people are now classified as “white”, and whiteness is now the “other”, which fits into the Nazi worldview. Jews embody White Supremacy, Colonialism and even Apartheid. Of course, it’s all blatantly false because many Jews––Sephardim from the Middle East or Africa––can be darker skinned if not black. At the same time, Ashkenazis are lighter-skinned of European origin. Regardless, what does skin colour have to do with your validity as a human being? What is underlying all this narrative is that Jews, with their small numbers, are highly successful, as are Asian Americans.
Is it any wonder that there has been an explosion of anti-Semitic and anti-American rhetoric on university campuses in America and elsewhere that is calling for the murder of Jews? The young don’t know history but are imbued with radical indoctrination. Just as big money is corrupting the medical establishment, wealthy foreign entities like Qatar are corrupting the education of the young in the West.
As they say, history repeats itself; racism has not gone away; it’s just manifesting in a new and hazardous form. The fact that the young in educational institutions are absorbing so much radical ideology doesn’t bode well for the future if this continues.
