America appears to be "going down the gurgler" by almost every metric. This is an Australian idiom akin to "down the drain". If not down the drain, the country appears to be circling the drain. While this seems to be a pessimistic outlook, there is also a glimmer of hope. However, time is running short, and you have to wonder if America is just another empire nearing the end of its shelf life.
There's another idiom that is so apt and describes why America is in its current predicament.; "You reap what you sow". This is the idea of doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting a different result, which is the definition of insanity."
During my lifetime, the changes in America have been dramatic. Change is not a bad thing. In fact, change is part of evolution; however, many changes are devolving around the country.
From the 1940s to the 80s, America was the world leader, an unparalleled superpower and a technological giant. It was a dynamic, can-do nation. From the Manhattan Project to the Apollo program that put men on the moon to the development of the personal computer, America led the world. In education, it was a world leader.
Today, American education lags behind most of the world's top countries. It doesn't even rank 20th in literacy.
According to the World Population Data on Literacy Statistics. 21% of Americans are illiterate, with 54% having 6th grade or lower levels of literacy. It's a sad indictment of how far the U.S. educational system has fallen. With millions of illegal immigrants flooding the U.S. border, this will only get worse with current policies.
In a report commissioned by the OECD, the U.S. is far from the top in science and maths.
Notice who is in 12th place? Vietnam is now a thriving economy; one of the factors is the rise in educational standards. There is a direct correlation between education and economic performance. Unfortunately, Australia, which follows the U.S., is also not on the list.
U.S. colleges and universities have become indoctrination mills where literacy plays second fiddle to the latest craze, which is either climate change, transgenderism or DEI (diversity equity inclusion).
What is now rampant in America is the projection of false narratives. America had overcome its racist past, and now, with the focus on race, whites are being portrayed as evil. We have racism in a different form; it's mainly black racism and, with it, antisemitism. It's no longer hidden away in the back rooms of a radical group. It's now openly promulgated in the media and even in Congress.
You have an American––I'm using that term loosely––a congresswoman who stated that she is Somali first, Muslim second and last? Well, she didn't mention America and said she must protect Somali rights.
Ilhan Omar brags about advancing a Somalia First agenda in Congress
She gives this thanks to the country that took her in as a refugee. It's a disgrace.
Speaking of migrants, the southern "border" is now the site of a mass invasion. The known illegals since Biden took office number 6 million, with an estimated four million unaccounted for. They are flooding all of America. It's insane that a country openly encourages this, and it's all due to the current administration. This shows open flaunting of U.S. law, not to mention weakness.
It's interesting; when I enter the United States as an Australian, I have to present my passport, get an eye and fingerprint scan, and, not infrequently, get searched. Is this happening with the illegals crossing the Mexican border? Hardly.
Since I own two companies in the U.S., I have to fill out a Beneficial Ownership Information Report under the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network. So, if you're a small business, you must comply with the pretence that they enforce security. The rationale for this new requirement is stated in their own words:
"…to safeguard the financial system from illicit use, combat money laundering and its related crimes including terrorism, and promote national security through the strategic use of financial authorities and the collection, analysis, and dissemination of financial intelligence."
If this isn't completed by the end of 2024, there can be a $10,000 fine and two years imprisonment. If you come across the southern border illegally, they give you money with often a get-out-of-jail-free card if you commit a crime. The American system is broken.
In the areas where strength is required, we see weakness, which is, in fact, a significant characteristic of Joe Biden. He clearly has dementia, and whoever is running the show is playing a dangerous game of empowering terror states such as Iran. Its ineptitude in the Afghanistan withdrawal, impotence in stopping the Houthi pirates who have literally taken over an international waterway, and soft-pedalling on Hamas, which is putting the world in greater danger. As I stated, you reap what you sow.
The most troubling thing is that America has lost its soul on a deeper level. Incidentally, that is shared by other countries who blindly follow America.
To see people demonstrating in favour of a group who have committed mass slaughter of civilians and rendering the group––Hamas––as victims shows how morally bankrupt the nation has become.
Instead of focusing on what really matters, the country is obsessed with the trials and tribulations of Donald Trump, which are a fraud perpetrated by the ruling class on someone they don't want to be re-elected. This is banana republic, third-world stuff. It's like a soap opera.
Then we have Taylor Swift. I plead ignorance because I had never heard of Taylor Swift up to six months ago. I must have led a sheltered life. Here again, everything is a soap opera. Then you had a sex tape leaked all over the internet of two men having sex in the U.S. Senate. Has anyone been charged? America is now mocking itself. It's no longer a serious country.
Many see the writing on the wall like Berni Marcus, ex-founder of Home Depot, who stated on Fox Business:
"But the truth of the matter is that if we don't change the government in this next '24 election, this country is dead. I've never said that before. I don't see any way out."
The average American is busy trying to earn a living, raise a family and not place much importance on the media's nonsense.
However, it's still possible for the country to turn itself around, and it won't be easy because today, America is no longer one country; it is a country that is so polarized between two ideologies that repair will be extremely difficult.
Righting the American ship is not rocket science. For starters, tomorrow, Joe Biden could close the border; it's in his power. In fact, it could get him elected. Most of the country now sees it as a crisis, and the majority support Texas Governor Abbott, who is taking a stand to remove border wiring.
The second and more complex task is encouraging families. The whole ideology which promotes that there are more than two genders is destroying some families. The lack of family values results in fewer kids being born. America needs to encourage families to have children with financial incentives. Take the money spent on illegals, such as giving them free accommodation, free health care, mobile phones and other inducements, and provide that to American families to encourage an increase in the birth rate.
If Trump wins the election this November, there will be a temporary respite. However, Trump alone can't fix this. The United States bureaucracy needs to be gutted of its power, which will take some successive determined administrations.
Will Trump's opponent be Biden? I predicted in December 2022 that Michelle Obama could enter the race the following year. She still may do so if the Democrats get desperate. If she does decide to run, she'll win. Rightly or wrongly, she is viewed as the most admired woman in America, ticking all the right boxes for the woke crowd. Heaven help America if that eventuates.
Ah. Grasshopper. The only thing that will save the USA, is violence. Extreme violence, with prejudice. And when we are done with our politicians, that same violence will be visited on the illegals, invited here by those we took care of in the first sentence. Any questions?
It is a fallacy that Big Mike is the most admired woman in America. Nothing could be farther from the truth. People see her/him as a white hating nasty pos! It will never happen! You’re right about how far we’ve fallen but I would argue it has been evident for a good many decades and sadly we on the right did not fight hard enough against the progressiveness. It has now progressed so far that there’s no going back. We need to tear it down if we hope to survive!
