Do you remember 2019? It's only been three years, but it seems like a lifetime away. The feeling that comes to mind is that we had abundance. Granted, some of that abundance was illusory.
Keeping interest rates low for too long gave us a false sense of security, but it did drive record real estate and share prices. We had relatively cheap and available energy. America was energy self-sufficient for the first time in many decades. Travel was open to a broad expanse of the populace and at a reasonable price.
Many people love to travel because travel represents freedom. That freedom provides us with adventure, whether hiking, rafting, skiing, exploring natural areas or storm chasing as we have done on the plains of America. Seeing vistas you don't usually see, or experiencing a thrilling adventure can be awe-inspiring. The choice is yours.
For less adventurous pursuits, there are so many historical sites to explore and marvel at what even ancient civilizations were able to achieve. Archaeologists and engineers are amazed at the site of Machu Picchu, built by the Incas. They were able to make the structures with such geometrical precision. The stone blocks are so tight that not even a credit card will fit in between them. When travelling, there are tremendous opportunities to learn about other cultures.
Whatever we do, travel allows us to explore the natural world and the varied cultures of humanity; many find it an inspiring experience.
I have been fortunate to have travelled to many countries and 47 of the 50 U.S. states. Thanks to modern technology, I have thousands of photos and videos stored electronically, which I can pass on to my grandchildren. Below are just a few samples.
Torres Del Paine, Patagonia, Chile
Machu Picchu, Peru
Galapagos Islands, Ecuador
So this was our world up to 2020. Then suddenly, it was like we hit a brick wall. We went from an expansive view of our world to one where we literally imploded inward. From abundance, suddenly, it became 'shrinking thinking' on so many levels.
Essentially, 2020 brought an assault on the human spirit. Lockdowns, school closures, camaflouging the face with masks and preventing regular social interaction demoralized many people. This was all because of a virus, or so they officials told us.
Concurrently with Covid, we started to see inflation go out of control, and supply lines became disrupted with shortages of items. Products that we routinely ordered from overseas were delayed or went missing. I am still waiting for a product that I ordered back in July.
The cheap fuel of 2019 went out the window with the war on fossil fuels. People started anticipating winter with foreboding due to price increases. These hit the lower-income groups the most. In many countries, including America, certain food items were in short supply, almost unheard of.
Once travel resumed––albeit with many disruptions––prices started to shoot up dramatically, making travel much less affordable. Whether you're in America, Europe or Australia––where I am––the cost of living has risen dramatically. Eyeglasses which two years ago were in the range of $700, now cost my wife $1000.
How come we went from one mindset in 2019 to a totally different one with such rapidity? The fact that it's happened globally says something; it's a coordinated action plan. Who planned it? There are several infamous characters, but the big clue came from none other than the WEF and their 'Great Reset' agenda. The motto, "You will own nothing and be happy" is revealing. Of course, they are leading us to a place where you need to be in the upper middle class or a multimillionaire to afford to drive or fly. You'll be confined near home without the ability to consider expanding your horizons. In other words, 'shrinking thinking'.
A sign of what may be coming occurred yesterday when America completely shut down its aviation industry. They claimed it was a computer glitch. However, why is it happening just now?

So what does it look like when tyrannical government restrictions remain in place––America still has a vaccine mandate for visitors to enter the country? What happens when it becomes too difficult to travel, too expensive, and you become insular? Well, we start to resemble a communist government.
The main objective of limiting travel is to control people globally. The ultimate goal of the globalists is the Chinese model. It is based on a social credit system to restrict travel and how you spend your money. The idea is to make you compliant. The restrictions we had to endure with Covid were a test run.
We must fight against this overreach by people we never voted for. Or if our representatives condone the path that we are on, we need to throw them out.
It comes down to each and every one of us. I don't know many people who wake up in the morning wanting to be less of themselves, to be poorer and to be in a permanent prison, physically or psychologically. That is reason enough to do all in our power to retain our long-established freedoms.
Absolutely stunning photos.
Abundance is still present, seizing it makes the difference.
The answer IMO is to see this as a spiritual war of good v evil and use the spiritual weapons of Ephesians 6 to overcome. We fight not against flesh and blood but spiritual powers in high places. Put your trust in God of creation and look to him for deliverance 😏
