Here comes Covid 2.0; This Time It’s The Climate

Now that COVID-19 is fading for most people, we have a new crisis enveloping us: Climate Change. It’s not really new, but with the focus on COVID-19 for the past four years, it went into hiding. Now, it’s in full view once again.

The Sars-Cov2 virus was why we needed the ‘vaccines,’ which we know didn’t work. The virus has evolved on its own accord, which viruses do. The new virus is the climate. We are told we will all die unless we do something to mitigate the devastating effects of global warming, which they tell us include more severe storms, deaths, sickness, and on and on it goes. There are several vaccines: wind turbines, solar farms, and electric vehicles which we are told will mitigate climate change.

Yes, many are buying EVs because they believe saving the planet is the righteous thing to do. For others, it’s merely a way to save money. Is the propaganda working? It appears so; the growth worldwide in EVs has been exponential. To date, EVs are not mandated, though the plan is to eliminate the gas-powered engine in the next 10 years. They are pushing this on us whether you like it or not. The fact that governments are spending trillions worldwide to develop infrastructure for electric vehicles with taxpayer subsidies shows that they are serious. In time, you may not have a choice and be forced to buy an EV, or the option is to cycle.

It’s not just electric vehicles on the agenda; the government has plans to dictate what you eat. Now, it’s just a suggestion, but it may become a mandate in time. Kamala Harris is the latest kid on the block out of that bastion of leftist, social engineering state, California. She wants you to eat less red meat; if she’s elected, she’ll ‘encourage’ Americans to do so.

Yes, there will probably be new taxes. Since she failed at being the border Czar, maybe we can call her the health Czar. She knows what’s best for you. Forget your nutritionist, naturopath, medical doctor, or chiropractor; Kamala knows what’s best for you.

Some don’t think climate change proponents will follow through with their plans. I keep hearing that the electric vehicle market has peaked and that people are giving up their EVs. Personally, I don’t see it. They are everywhere, primarily Teslas but many others, including those from China. The sale of Teslas has indeed tapered off.

However, the overall global shows robust growth for EVs with no sign of slowing down.

In Australia there is a backlog now of unsold Teslas. There is one reason; China! The Australian government doesn’t seem concerned about the Chinese flooding the market with cheaper government subsidized vehicles. All they care about is that consumers can get cheaper vehicles. Country loyalty is not paramount in Australia.

In the past year, sales of EVs have doubled in Australia. You don’t have to buy a Tesla. You can get the cheaper Chinese models, and you’re starting to see them everywhere; BYD and GWN are increasingly appearing on the roads. People are operating according to their own self-interest, and if it means the government helping to subsidize electric cars and the recharging network, they’re all for it.

This begs the question, is there really a climate virus? Is what we’ve been told really true? Remember all the Covid policies: the lockdowns, kids wearing masks, the ‘vaccines’? These were all shown to be ineffectual and, in the case of jabs in many cases, dangerous. Governments shut down most of the major world economies, now acknowledged by many as a failure, which we’re still paying for with high inflation.

How many years have we been fighting the supposed climate crisis? The proponents will say there has yet to be enough time; we have to wait decades. However, they have been predicting catastrophes since the 1980s, none of which have resulted. 

So, let’s see if there is a crisis for which we need to radically alter our way of life.

There is no significant pattern development here. If this was a stock, you would have been disappointed in its growth.

Below is data on tornado frequency from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association, including the number of violent tornados (EF 3 or greater).

There has been no discernable change in the overall frequency of tornadoes, and the frequency of severe tornadoes has dropped. If it were a stock, you would have lost a significant portion of your money.

We’re also told that flooding will devastate the world due to climate change. However, the National Weather Service data shows no increase in lives lost from floods other than a few peaks in 1954 and the early 1970s.

Again, where is the crisis? My prediction is that we will continue to inoculate ourselves with EVs, wind turbines, and solar panels. Despite that, the climate will continue doing what it always does, moving in recurring cycles of change.
