Gaslighting Is Now The Modus Operandi Of The Government-Media Complex

One of the better movies of the 1940s was Gaslight, directed by George Cukor and starring Ingrid Bergman and Charles Boyer. In the movie, Boyer, as Bergman's debonair husband, starts using psychological manipulation. Bergman starts to lose or misplace things, and Boyer convinces his wife that she is going insane, that she has some illness. Bergman starts to doubt her own sanity.

This is probably where the term, gaslighting came from. It's the use of psychological manipulation to convince someone through deliberate and repeated lying that makes the person question what they are seeing or hearing. In its extreme, one questions one's own sanity. It is actually a form of abuse. Unfortunately, governments and their media partners in many areas are engaging in gaslighting. Even after being outed, they often continue with the same strategy, showing total disdain for their constituents.

Biden's Dementia

President Biden's progressive mental deterioration has been evident for some time. Yet, the Democrats and their media partners have relentlessly pushed the narrative that Biden is competent and clear-thinking. Anyone with eyes and ears, and who has had family members deteriorate with dementia can see what is obvious. Yet, we've had gaslighting used shamelessly, to put any inquisitive minds to rest.

When Biden turned 81, Kareem Jean Pierre, Biden's Press Secretary said the following when asked about Biden's mental fitness: 

"I would put the president's stamina, the president's wisdom, ability to get this done on behalf of the American people, against anyone, anyone, on any day of the week."

"Our perspective is, it's not about age, it's about the president's experience. That's what we believe. And you know, as they say, the proof is in the pudding."

In March, at a press conference she said, "He is as I said incredibly engaged, uh as I said very sharp."

Then, after the disastrous debate with Trump, where they could no longer hide Biden's frailness and brain freezes, they continued with the gaslighting, citing his having a cold as an excuse or his wife, Jill, in a cringeworthy display, extolling Biden's correct answers to the debate questions. 

After the debate, in North Carolina, Biden stated, 'I don't debate as well as I used to—but I tell the truth'. We can excuse Biden for that because of dysfunctional cognition. However, as it turns out, Biden's statements for many years have been laced with falsehoods, even about his own family.

The Covid Era Policies

This has to be the most prominent example of medical gaslighting in history. The health authorities asked people to suspend what their senses told them, even within a short time of receiving the injections. People who were severely damaged were diagnosed with having psychiatric issues or that their condition was just coincidental to receiving the vaccine. Tell that to Maddie De Garay, who was confined to a wheelchair shortly after receiving the "vaccine".

Maddie's mother stated:

"I've waited seven months for Pfizer or the FDA to acknowledge what happened to my daughter and they haven't. They tried to ignore her injuries.  I had hoped that with this ad, she would finally have the chance to be in the room with them, to be seen by them, and for her voice to be heard. Instead, they silenced her."

Doctors, Pfizer, and others continued with the gaslighting by arguing that Maddie's condition could not have been caused by the vaccine; after all, the shots are safe and effective. This strategy has also been used with other vaccines when there have been adverse events.

Big Tech Censorship

In early 2020, when I wrote some posts on Facebook about COVID-19 policy, they were blocked. I decided then and there that I was going to cancel Facebook and not grovel to their wishes to amend what I knew to be correct. Similarly, Google manipulated its search engine to make you believe that anytime you brought up the words 'Trump' or 'vaccine', on one hand, the reference to Trump was exclusively negative. In contrast, the vaccine reference was always positive.

We have confirmation that Zuckerberg, head of Meta and Facebook, colluded with the Biden administration in suppressing factual material if the administration deemed it to be false–even when it wasn't. The information came to light when it was released by the House Judiciary Committee.

Internal Facebook Emails Reveal White House Pressured Social-Media Platform to Censor Covid 'Misinformation'

Since so many people are glued to social media, we can see how the giant platforms were gaslighting the American people in conjunction with the government.

A lower court upheld that the First Amendment was violated and that the government couldn't engage with others in censorship. However, the court overturned the verdict in a Supreme Court ruling in Murthy versus Missouri. It stated that "judges do not get to micromanage how the Biden administration speaks to social media companies".

In other words, the government can continue to censor speech. So, apparently, there are no First Amendment rights here. In other words, Big Tech is now engaged in a censorship-media complex, with the government instrumental in pushing this modern-day gaslighting.

The question is, why is one side of the political spectrum so entrenched in gaslighting people in the West? It's repressive and shuts down intelligent dialogue. The old communist playbook, which was a thing of the past, has been resurrected big time.
