Are We Really Free Or Is It Just An illusion?

I sense that we have been lulled into the apathetic state exemplified by the Australian expression, "She'll be right, mate". Now that some Covid mandates have been eased, what did we achieve? Despite all the lockdowns, masks, and 'vaccines', not much. Except we've had more excess deaths, including the jabs, and many people who have been temporarily and permanently maimed.

Do you think the authorities have learned anything? Based on the evidence, I would say not much, and there seems to be little self-reflection.

This first story is about Covid.

Recently a police officer in West Australia lost his case in the Supreme Court challenging the vaccine mandates.

In the article are two quotes from the Justice in the case:

"All of the evidence establishes that the COVID-19 pandemic was, and remains, an extraordinary emergency."

"The measures that were taken are undoubtedly extraordinary, but that does not establish that they lacked rationality…."

What lacks rationality is this Justice stating that we have an 'extraordinary emergency’. Almost all these judges are just puppets of the state. The police officer will appeal, but don't hold your breath for a reversal.

The following story has to do with…you guessed it, Climate Change. This is another way for governments to rob us of our rights under the guise of saving the planet. We listened to these clowns with Covid policy. How did that work out?

Notice these members of parliament, all virtue signalling with their masks, despite knowing that facemasks don't stop the virus. Well, maybe they don't know, but here we are, trusting them to make decisions about climate.

We've gone from forcing people into all the failed Covid policies to the policies of coercion to get us off fossil fuels. Do they even think about what a zero policy of emissions would mean? Zero comforts, as people would have to rely on solar panels, which by the way, makes China wealthier. 

The leaders, not just the Australian ones, are delusional if they think we can have the same standard of living that has brought us into the 21st century. Yet, you dare not ask, is the climate really changing? Oh, it is, but you can't see it yet. Hang on, Al Gore, Dicaprio, and all the other Davos crowd kept telling us that calamity would strike by 2013 or was it 2010? Oh, it doesn't matter; they can just keep moving the date forward, hoping that they may yet get lucky.

From where I sit, looking at the weather, nothing is all that different. In previous articles, I stated––contrary to what the climate hysterics say––severe storms like tornadoes and hurricanes (cyclones) have not increased in severity or frequency. 

All this doesn't matter because we are being pushed into a new and potentially disastrous paradigm. The politicians want everyone to drive electric cars; too bad if you can't afford one. The car manufacturers will gradually stop producing gas-powered vehicles. To be conscientious stewards of the planet, companies will follow like sheeple.

They want us to eat bugs, and that delicious sizzling steak or veal parmigiana will be a thing of the past if the climate change mob get their way.

One Bank has already announced that they will no longer finance loans for non-electric vehicles as of 2025.

This is leading us to ESG—Environment Social Governance. It's a fancy term for regulating your life where you will have a credit score according to how woke or 'green’ you are. Companies are jumping on the bandwagon. Your investments directly support this new plan, whether you like it or not.

I'm sure many of you would love to travel overseas as I do. I am not free to do so in countries such as the U.S. or Canada because I am not 'vaccinated' against Covid. If you travel, you must stifle your breathing by wearing a mask. We have freedoms with more conditions attached. It's a bit like conditional love.

However, there is a glimmer of hope. The World Climate Declaration, signed by 1107 scientists, including a Nobel Prize Laureate, states that there is No Climate Emergency. Whether they have any influence is an open question.

Obviously, in a 'free' society, we have certain restrictions on our freedoms. You can be fined or lose your license if you speed while driving. However, they are chipping away at our liberties; they're not stopping. 

Remember the goal of Klauss Schwab's World Economic Forum: “You'll own nothing and be happy." No, you won't. It's all part of the grand illusion. You'll probably be miserable.
